Senior Company Members

Hannah is in her 7th Season at CCBC. She has received a scholarship( $8,000 a year) to Kings College in New York City, is a 2008/09 Sullivan Dance Centre Studio Scholarship recipient and also a member of the International Thespian Society. This past summer Hannah had an amazing experience when she traveled with students from her school to London, Paris, Rome, Sorrento, Capri, Patras and Athens. When Hannah is not dancing she loves to spend her time with photography. Favorite Quote: “Do or do not; there is no try.” -Yoda


Maria-Elena is in her 3rd season at CCBC. She is a recipient of the True Love Waits scholarship(2006), ACSI Christianship Award, member of National Honor society, President of Spanish Club, Vice President of the International Thesbian Society, and was selected for UNC Chapel Hill’s “Project Uplift program. Maria-Elena is involved in martial arts, tennis, spending time with family and friends, shopping with her mom, movies and volunteers at Matthews Help Center. Carly is in her 6th Season at CCBC. She is a member of the Photography Club, French Club, Voices Activated Club, is on the Prowl Newspaper Staff as well as being a Girl Scout. Last summer Carly attended the Rock School for Dance Education Summer Intensive in Philadelphia, and was a 2007/08 Sullivan Dance Centre Studio Scholarship recipient. Kelly is in her 6th Season at CCBC. She has received two honorable mention awards in art and the NHAS emerging artist award. Last summer she attended the Rock School for Dance Education on scholarship and has also attended American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive in Detroit. When she is not dancing, her passion is creative writing/ poetry and painting. Favorite Quote: “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.”Gandalf (Lord of the Rings)

Sinclair is in her 1st Season at CCBC. She is a member of the Ambassador club, Students Against Drunk Driving Club, Honors Society, Photography Club, Diversity Club, plays on the Charlotte Latin girl’s Golf team and also last summer Sinclair attended Ballet Austin Summer Intensive. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and going shopping. Favorite Quote: “If you imagine it, you can achieve it; if you can dream, you can become it.” William Arthur Ward


Jessie is in her 4th Season at CCBC. She enjoys singing, acting and has been in her school musicals, Bye Bye Birdie and Fiddler on the Roof. The past two summers, Jessie has attended American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Favorite Quote: “Dance as if no one were watching, sing as if no one were listening, and live each day as if it were your last.”



Natalie is in her 4th Season at CCBC. She is on the Honor roll and is the First Chair Cello in the Orchestra. Natalie has attended American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive in Detroit and the Rock School for Dance Education Summer Intensive. Natalie enjoys cooking, film/photography, reading, watching movies and being crazy with her friends. Favorite Quote: “ Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free.”


Rebecca (RJ) is in her 3rd Season at CCBC. She is a member of the Art Honor Society, the Latin Club, HOSA, and the Providence Photography Club. When she is not dancing she enjoys shopping, going out with her friends and bake. Favorite Quote: “Never frown because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.” Movie: “ Memoirs of a Geisha”





Senior Apprentice Members
Allison is in her 3rd Season at CCBC. She is a member of the School Leadership Team, Yearbook Club member and also attended the Washington DC People to People Leaders Conference. For the past two summers, she has attended the Rock School for Dance Education Summer Intensive. She enjoys hanging out with friends, shopping, reading books, watching Project Runway or the Amazing Race and is a Jonas Brothers fan !



Elaine is in her 3rd Season at CCBC. She was accepted and attended the ABT Young Dancers workshop Summer intensive in New York City in 2007. She is a Girl Scout and likes to play softball. Favorite Quote: “Dancers are the athletes of god .”-Albert Einstein






Elizabeth is in her 2nd Season at CCBC. She is on the Volleyball team at school, an Acolyte at Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, attends Youth Group at Holy Comforter, and is a member of the Movers and Shakers leadership group at trinity Episcopal School. She enjoys volleyball, swim team and drawing.






Ellen is in her 1st Season at CCBC. She teaches Vacation Bible school at her church as well as being a peer Minister during the school year. She also is a part of the IB Council at school She likes to go shopping, hang with friends and watch movies. Apprentice Members
Meaghan is in her 2nd Season at CCBC. She is a member of the Key Club, Deca and also in the freshman Choir. Besides dancing, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and going to the mall. Favorite Quote: “The biggest risk in life is the one you don’t take.”






Alexandra is in her 2nd Season at CCBC. She has been a participant of CMS Spectrum of the Arts Camp for 3 years, as a visual arts major. Her extracurricular time is spent at dance but she also enjoys drawing, shopping and hanging out with friends. Favorite Quote: “Rollin!” –Miss Lisa





Margaret is in her 1st Season at CCBC. She plays the flute in the AG Middle School Band, was awarded a scholarship in Dance and Drama for Spectrum School of the Arts, and received the Student Character and Citizenship award. This past summer she traveled to upstate New York to volunteer at a homeless shelter with her church. She enjoys soccer, swimming, reading, listening to music and hanging out with friends, family and playing with her dog. Favorite Quote: “When you talk, it’s communication of the brain. Sarah is in her 2nd Season at CCBC. She plays the clarinet in the school band, is an honor student in honors math, science and language arts and an active participant in her Sunday school class at Forrest. She volunteers in various outreach projects in the community and is a regular volunteer at the Extreme Ice Center. Sarah is also a member of the Sullivan Youth Ensemble/Troupe this year. She enjoys playing on the computer, creating and inventing things, reading and learning new magic tricks. Mary Beth is in her 2nd Season at CCBC. She is on the Student Council at school, on the Honor Roll and a member of CYC (Committed Young Christians). She enjoys playing on the computer, hanging out with loved ones and reading the Twilight Series. Favorite Quote: “The cloud enters the room. The cloud fills the room. The cloud leaves the room. Lindsay is in her 1st Season at CCBC. She has earned the Presidential Academic Fitness Award, Duke T.I.P. Member, National Academic League and also is on the swim team. She likes sports, reading, the computer, arts and crafts, bicycling, swimming, and hanging out with her family and friends. Favorite Quote: “Go Beyond”
